Not a day goes by that I’m not so grateful that this page went through intense price testing before deciding on the subscription price. We decided not to do a Valentines day sale too! It’s interesting to see that the high sub cost ($35) remains a majority of the revenue each month.
I’ve experimented with lower sub prices (both in price testing and during holiday sales) and it can be hard to upsell people if they paid a low sub price. I’m happy with keeping it at $35! I was worried that revenue would drop because of everybody else’s Valentines Day sales — but to my surprise, the competition didn’t negatively impact the page!
OF tips (20.8%)
There were actually SO MANY custom requests that the base prices are now increased, in hopes of decreasing the amount of people who buy (while maintaining income).
Cashapp tips (17.8%)
No notes, just happy about this :)
Drip chatting (5%)
I didn’t get to do as much drip chatting as I normally would want to, but this is mostly for personal reasons. Drip chatting is awesome (I wrote a whole post about it here) BUT sometimes it can take a while to get through a folder (literally an hour) and while the money is good, I don’t always have an hour free at the end of the day where I’m okay with just sitting and waiting for people to respond lol. There were multiple times where I had to run to dinner while keeping up a conversation and it was not a good work life balance.
GFE (5%)
Wish the fee was higher but then the customer would not stay :’)
Livestream (5%)
Livestreams are a new marketing effort — I don’t have a full conclusion on them yet. You might have seen my recent post on how the first livestream went. This one went similarly, but something interesting happened emotionally: some of the hardcore fans had a negative reaction to seeing the “reality” of sw, for lack of a better phrase. Aka they didn’t like seeing many guys be entertained at once. I think that broke the illusion of the pseudo-relationship. So…not sure if livestreams will become a regular thing.
PPV (4%)
You can look at low ppv revenue like this: on one hand, PPV doesn’t make much money and perhaps that’s a bummer.
On the other hand, I look at it like: even if no PPV was ever sold again, it wouldn’t make much of a difference on revenue :) I really enjoy NOT having to rely on PPV for income, unlike the situation that was going on when I was running a free page.
